Dr. Jeremy Goetsch

Dr. Goetsch grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin. When he was a young boy, he broke his glasses so often that his mother told him he either had to be an eye doctor or a millionaire to be able to afford to continue to wear glasses. To a nine-year-old, being an eye doctor seemed more doable than being a millionaire!

Dr. Goetsch moved to Madison for college. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. He graduated cum laude in 2009.

Dr. Goetsch and his wife have three children (including twins) and two energetic dogs. He enjoys spending time with them, especially playing outside, biking, and hiking. In the spring he makes maple syrup with his family. He is an active member of his church. His favorite way to spend a day off is cooking for his family. He is an active outdoorsman and enjoys fishing with his kids, hunting with his dad, and working on his old pickup truck with his brother.

Dr. Goetsch has been in practice since 2009, and specializes in the treatment of dry eye, as well as complicated contact lens fitting including scleral lenses for keratoconus. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Wisconsin Optometric Association and he belongs to the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Dr. Goetsch's favorite moment is putting glasses on a small child and watching their eyes light up as they can see clearly for the first time in their life.
